Walking home, amongst ringing bells and new fall winds, he muses how it is odd that things that amount to nothing leave the largest impressions.

The subjects of "Without the Kiss" and "A Wedding for Laura" are one in the same; both songs of missed romance and both written concurrently in 1996.

This release of the "Without the Kiss" recording was initially remastered at 491 Gallery Studios with producer 'Brotherman' in London, 2007 for the European release version of the album.

This version of the recording -- a set of recordings made during the same studio session for "Muse Tree", "Alexandria, Falling", and "Disconnect' in 2007 -- was released in "premaster" form as a physical item for European audiences during performances in Europe from 2008 to 2010. A more recent and mastered collection is available on the U.S. release, "Darlene" (2011), available here: juleanandtherai.bandcamp.com/album/darlene
